To start the day and provide some inspiration, we had three engaging keynote speakers: Martin Keary, Marta Marczykowska-Górecka, and Tobias Bernard. The recordings of the keynotes are available on our YouTube channel.
At the beginning of the barcamp, we invited all participants to suggest topics they wanted to discuss or learn more about by writing their ideas on a whiteboard for everyone to see. Using a voting system, the participants selected nine exciting topics to explore further.
The following topics were selected during the voting process:
Participants were then divided into three groups to discuss the topics for 45 minutes in each session, sharing knowledge and gaining new insights. After the first round of discussions, attendees had the option to join a different group for the next session.
During some sessions notes were taken, which you can find here.
We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who participated in our first FOSS Backstage Design Barcamp. Special thanks to Eriol Fox for hosting and guiding the participants! We hope everyone enjoyed the inaugural FOSS Backstage Design Barcamp, and we look forward to welcoming you back next year!
We are always looking for ways to improve, so please contact us directly at info@foss-backstage.de if you have any suggestions on how to make #FOSSDesign even better.
